About

The seven summits represent the highest peaks on each continent.  The original list that this author has attempted was defined by Richard Bass, the recently passed owner of Snowbird resort.  He was the first to climb the seven summits, and his book “Seven Summits” is highly recommended.

Mark Bellamy is an amateur climber, photographer and father based in Brisbane Australia.  He caught the mountaineering bug relatively late in life, and is still working on that elusive seventh summit.
